"Living close to the Altadena fire zone and hearing from effected people about their frustrations concerning low coverage, I decided to inquiry into increasing my coverage on my home. When I phoned my agent’s office, unbeknownst to me I was connected to another State Farm office. Ebony Bankhead was assigned my call and I was very confused. Unfortunately, she explained my prior agent had unexpectedly passed away, so I my account was assigned to Sam Lambs office. Ebony was in the process of contacting the prior agent’s clients when I had called. After informing me of this sad news, we discussed increasing my coverage. Having both homeowners’ and CEA insurance, any change would affect the other policy, which could be a very expensive change. Ebony discussed different ways to keep the premium within my budget. Because there were numerous variables (coverage amount, deductibles, etc.) Ebony said she would prepare a detailed schedule of the different coverages. Within a day or so, Ebony emailed a very comprehensive schedule showing the new premium and the increase over my current coverage so I could see the effect right away. I was shocked she had prepared this detailed schedule because I have never received a schedule so detailed. Being a CPA this is exactly what CPA’s love to see. After reviewing the schedule, I had a follow-up call with Ebony and changed my coverage accordingly. She indicated CEA could take some time to approve the increased coverage, but she would follow up with me once it was accepted, which she did. From start to finish, Ebony was very easy to work with, keeping the frustration at a minimum. With this service, I HIGHLY recommend working with her on your insurance needs. Thank you, Ebony."
